Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their client's dynamic team in California. This role involves leading construction projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet all budgetary and scheduling requirements while fostering client relationships and managing project teams effectively.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit detailed construction project budget estimates from drawings and specifications.
- Oversee all phases of construction projects from concept through closeout, ensuring schedule and budget adherence.
- Manage document control, including cost control, schedule tracking, and change order administration.
- Lead and estimate multiple projects concurrently while maintaining accuracy and accountability.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, including site conditions and material lead times.
- Assist with preparation of RFP packages and project proposals.
- Support development of new client relationships while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and professional organizations.
Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of project management functions including bidding, estimating, subcontracting, permitting, scheduling, cost control, billing, documentation, and closeout.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage project teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience as a Project Manager in a construction environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Project.
- Strong understanding of all construction trades, including MEP.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Client-centered mindset focused on relationship development and satisfaction.
- Highly motivated, solutions-oriented, and adaptable approach.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize workload independently.
- LEED accreditation is a plus.

Monday - Friday, 1st shift

Additional Details
Max Pay is $225,000. Min Pay is $175,000. This job is a supervisory position.
